This two day
GC -MS Course assumes at least the knowledge obtained in the GC Beginner course or at least 6 month's GC practical experience. No Prior experience with GC-MS is necessary. Emphasis is on the practical rather than theoretical and topics covered include defining a TIC, full scan and SIM mode, various MS instruments such as quadrupole, TOF and Ion Trap, selection of GC and MS conditions for maximum resolution and sensitvity, and simple spectral interpretation.
The afternoon of each day is devoted to practical exercises emphsising the presentation material.
